West Indies opener Lendl Simmons was given his due for some impressive batting in the ODIs by replacing the injured Adrian Barath for the Test series against Bangladesh.Barath, 21, suffered a hamstring injury during the first one-day international and has not recovered enough to make the two Test series.
The 26-year-old Simmons is in good form and was the top-scoring batsman with 202 runs in two innings in the three match one-day series which the visitors won 2-1.
The first Test gets underway on Friday in Chittagong.
