Brief Preview: It was a tough opening game for England as they struggled with both bat and ball in the first ODI. To be fair, they began very well with the ball but then lost control mid-way. The batting had a big ask, chasing more than 6 runs per over and fell flat. The visitors now face an uphill battle to bounce back as a defeat here would take the hosts 2-0 up. India would be very confident to achieve the same apart from a few issues with the top order not converting their starts. The track at the Kotla would more or less be one supporting spin and the English batsmen will have their task cut out.
